Turning unwanted firearms into garden tools, art, and jewelry.

Guns to Gardens DFW is part of a national faith-based movement providing Americans with a practical way to responsibly dispose of unwanted guns. Sometimes these are inherited firearms. Sometimes they are guns that a family feels are unsafe to have in a home, for instance, with children or teens, with senior citizens or with anyone who suffers from a serious illness.

Anyone in the community is welcome to bring an unwanted firearm anonymously.  There is no transfer of firearm ownership, as once the gun is dismantled according to federal guidelines, it is no longer legally a gun. View our upcoming events.

Community Collaboration

Guns to Gardens DFW is partnering with Raw Tools for a drive-through, anonymous, and safe way to dispose of unwanted firearms. Our trained volunteers receive each firearm and dismantle it in real time. The parts are then transformed by a blacksmith into meaningful new pieces like garden tools, jewelry, and art.

By participating, you help reduce the risk of gun-related accidents and theft while supporting creative reuse that honors healing and community renewal.
